After we got some news that Lilou & Laliart is moved to the new location, finally we got a chance to visit. We had met K.Pum, one of Laliart and Lilou founders, when we joined the Coffee Calling camp at the coffee field on Doi Saket in Chiangmai about 4 years ago, we realized that Lilou, the vegan restaurant, is one our favourite list when we frequently hopped the cafe in a weekend.
We journey to Ari Samphan soi 10, the new location of Lilou & Laliart.
They give us the warm welcome like visiting the gallery-house of our neighbourhood. Most of the cafe area leave the raw material of the cafe construction like bard cement flooring, wooden window, and the see-through wall. This place is filled with many plants which could soften the surrounding atmosphere. The natural sunlight can pass through the cafe. We decide to order the hot latte and then take time to walk around, take some photos, and calmly listen to the bird’s voice from outside.
Lilou & Laliart is one of the places that reminds us how our dreamed house will look like.
